Being a bilingual person, I might have some types of difficulty in learning certain materials because it takes some time to process information. I try my hardest to stay focused and on top of the information that is being given. Just like everyone else if I am not interested in a certain topic I would not pay attention. Having some types of interest is important to me that will keep me focus, on task, and I will learn something. Also, having some types of diagram/charts, examples, different ways of explaining, and several resources this is a great help for me to better understand the material. For example, I am not a math person so I need several examples, visualization, and a very good explanation. My math high school teacher was terrible to present a new concept, she had a temper and she did not want to help you should understand the problem.
Having professor that would help me and would be patience with me is important because I will know that I can trust him/her with any concern or question I might have.

I really hoped that we could have attended a school that is taught in Spanish, but that would be cheating since I know Spanish. I felt scared visiting a because I don't speak sign language. I was afraid that a student or a teacher would talk to me and I would not know what to do to answer them back. Of course I was very curious about Albuquerque Sign Language Academy, I wonder how the school was run, on how students learn all of the subjects that are taught in public schools, and how classrooms were set up. But I was excited to be exposed to a new community, especially to a community that I have very little contact and information about, I know that going to this community would be a great experience for
