There are millions of people in this world fighting gum disease, root canals, and trying to prevent cavities. Could you be one? It’s easy for these things listed to happen, people often don’t realize how easy it can be. For that reason I cannot wait to get into the dental field. I love to help people, but, I would love to show people the importance of taking care of their mouth and teeth. Not taking care of your teeth can result to bad health and that is not good whatsoever, also could get really severe if not taken care of. I want to be a dental Hygienist, not just for the money, but to help others. I want to help other people build their confidence and not be afraid to smile. A Dental hygienist makes good money. They make $69,760 a year according to the Bureau of labor statistics (2016,chron). Being a Dental Hygienist will always be beneficial, the field of dental hygiene is growing fast. When being a dental hygienist you can chose to work part time or full time. Your schedule will be a lot more flexible that way.
