Veterinarians take sick animals and treat them when they are sick. They can also prescribe medicine to animals for them to heal. Someone could become a vet if they enjoy helping them and saving their lives. If someone is also interested in big paychecks, they might consider being a vet.nThis job is showing a small growth of employment. Most veterinarians have short hours and holidays off. However, if you work in an emergency vet clinic, you will have longer hours and will need to be able to show up and work on a moment’s notice.
