1.0 INTRODUCTION

Almost people know that exercising provides a lot of benefits to themselves. According to a report published on Health24 (Susan Erasmus, 30/08/2013), “A 30-minute walk every day can do more for your long-term health than all the efforts of a dozen doctors and their medication.” It not only help to improve the bodes, loss weight as almost people think, but it is a way to have a good heart, prevent and reduce risk of health diseases. Besides, it also can bring us some benefits that many people may not know such as healthy skin, sleep well, sharper brain, and more excitement. According to a report published on Health24 (Susan Erasmus, 30/08/2013) (7), have some other benefits of exercising but in this report just listed some main benefits due to limited words. However, it can be harmful if it is taken in the inappropriate way; such as extremely intense in a long period of time can lead to stroke and other problems about blood circulation increases.

2.0 BENEFITS:

2.1. Lose Weight and Have A Good Body.

Doing exercise measures to help maintain weight as well as the best way to lose weight. The daily physical activity helps to burn calories in the body, the more physical activity, the more calories are burned. According to Health Central (healthcentral.com, 2011) (2), “women who regularly exercise but do not change their diet can lose significantly more weight than less active women” and research also shown that “An hour or more of daily moderate exercise may be needed to promote weight loss”.

2.2. Have A Good Heart and Combat Health Diseases.

In fact, due to the nonstop movement that the speed of blood circulation is increased, no stuck, thereby the immunity is better and improve the body can prevent diseases. Furthermore, increased body temperature during exercise is also an opportunity for the organisms that cause disease difficult to survive and not be harmful to the body. According to Worth Health Organization (WHO) (5), lack of exercising lead to about 17% of heart disease and diabetes, 12% of falls in the elderly, and 10% of breast cancer.

2.3. Healthy Skin.

As Dr. Katz said (3), “The skin is the window dressing. It’s really reflective of overall health.” That means if detoxification systems of the body – including the kidneys, liver and spleen are healthy, the skin will be lighter and stronger as well. The more exercise, the more toxins are excreted. Exercising can helps blood circulation to bring oxygen and nutrients to the skin and helps it nourished and toned, healthier. Dr. Katz also said “exercise enhances the blood flow to your skin”.

2.4. Sleep Well.

According to a report published on oregonstate.edu (22/11/2011), people who exercise at a moderate level or stronger about 150 minutes or more per week (about 20 minutes per day) will have 65% of quality of sleep better than people who less activity.
According to a study of Brad Cardinal – a professor at Oregon State University (USA) (6), more and more scientific evidence to encourage regular physical activity is a way to alternative medicine to improve sleep. “Increasingly, the scientific evidence is encouraging as regular physical activity may serve as a non-pharmaceutical alternative to improve sleep” he said. Moreover, it is much cheaper and safer than sleeping pills.

2.5. More Excitement.

Physical activity stimulates production of endorphin hormone which helps create a sense of excitement in the brain.
Physical activity can makes motivation for people want to do their work, they feel more energy, more excited than without doing exercise. According to researchers from Penn State University (1), the more exercising taken, the higher level of excitement they have.

3.0 NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF EXERCISING.

Doing exercise almost good for health, but too much exercise can be harmful. Doing exercise in a long period of time can lead to stroke and other problems about blood circulation increases.
