Dear Ohiyesa Wnab,
Today I witnessed the signing and agreement of Treaty number 6. The signing was located at Fort Carlton and Fort Pitt in Saskatchewan. The area of the Treaty includes western Alberta and continues through southeastern Saskatchewan and 35,700 square miles in central southwestern Manitoba. The treaty partners in Saskatchewan included Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, and Dene. I believe the signing of this treaty will be a good thing and will improve our future with the Crown. This treaty is the transition to our new life. The Benefits we will gain are the right to hunt, fish, and trap, education, medical assistance, reserve land, agricultural tools and support, and peaceful co-existence
