In the hot and humid weather of Miami, there was a kid named Benito Lopez. He and his family members were the only Hispanic people in his neck of the woods. Growing up, he experienced plenty of trouble with friends and family on the rugged streets of South Miami. The police would always get involved in the conflict in his neighborhood. Benito hated them with great passion, although he was jealous of the great power they possessed. “They have control over everything, it’s not fair!” Benito would always cry to his mother. The very next day, Kevin comes into work earlier than usual. Kevin knew Lopez was still a part of the drug game. He begins his own investigation to bring down this well-known drug lord. Business is booming for Benito. He is on top of the world. He has connections on both sides. Nothing to worry about at all. A few months later, Benito feels invincible. He begins to get very sloppy with his drug work. Kevin and colleagues have gathered an abundance of evidence against this kingpin. They are getting prepared and growing impatient for the big takedown. Over this time, Lopez and Samuels have grown very close together. They became friends once again. Benito thought he had the world in his hands. Little did he know what Samuels had up his sleeve. As the time grew closer, Benito sensed a different type of aura coming from his new best friend. Their conversations became short and mundane. Kevin became a lot more quiet and conservative. Benito caught a sense of this and knew exactly what was going on. Kevin was ready to make the move. On that evening, Benito began to make his way home while constantly checking every mirror to see if he was being stalked. After making dozens of unnecessary turns, he finally pulls up to his
