Mr. Benjamin Lloyd Crump is a civil rights attorney recognized in 2014 as an NNPA Newsmaker of the year, as well as in the Top one hundred National Trial Lawyers. He is also featured in the Ebony Magazine’s Power one hundred and is listed as one of the most powerful African American civil right Attorneys (National Bar Association, 2015).
Attorney Crump was awarded the American Association for Johnny Cochran Award. He was also given the Alpha Kappa Alpha Elanor Roosevelt Medallion for his dedicated service. Not to mention, he was also given the NAACP Thurgood Marshall Award, and finally, he was awarded the SCLC Martin Luther King Servant Leader Award also (NBA, 2015).
