What kind of modern day monsters are still lurking in the dark? What kind of people would kill for fun and obsession? People can become monsters for a number of reasons, it could be a psychological problem that was forced on them when they were younger or it could be an odd obsession that they have formed over the years. Serial killers are monsters because they have no remorse or guilt for what they are doing. The modern day serial killers are different from the monsters in Beowulf. Serial killers usually don’t have reasons for their crimes, while Grendel and the dragon had reasons for their mass murders.

Serial killers, the modern monsters who prey on unsuspecting people. Exceedingly more vile than the most gruesome of monster in the great epic Beowulf, these serial killers terrorize innocent people. The reasoning for this is that they do not have grounds for their behavior.
