Beowulf’s credibility has never been a question, especially in the eyes of Anglo-Saxon he was the ideal hero for that time. In those eyes Beowulf distributed all of the values that are prominent throughout, like his known bravery, the name he made for himself, loyalty, honesty, and generosity. Though there can be a controversy with some of these allegations, the stories of the battles he tell, his in the name he made for himself, and he’s desires’. These aspects that appear throughout the story can both clash with each other, as well as, showing more humane instead of hero traits. Following throughout the story the compare and contrast traits of Beowulf on his honesty, pride, and personal desires’. Many would argue that for that time Beowulf
