Betsy DeVos and her husband Dick have been partakers in a massive educatial reform for quite some time. They got s tart in the 1990s and have not let the fire burn out since then. Betsy recently agreed to partake in an interview so that peple could gain a greater understanding of why she and her husband do what they do and how they feel about their accomplishments. The following is some information about that interview and the name that Betsy DeVos has made for herself as "The Reformer."

The list of things that the DeVos's did is so extensive that it would take days to list all of them. However, one can get a pretty good picture of what they've done by reviewing three of their recent tasks. In 2033, the DeVoses started the "All Children Matter" campaign.

DeVos answered quite a few questions candidly. One of the questions that she answered was what initially got her interested in education and what put her so deeply into it. Mrs. DeVos answered by statting that she had been visiting the Potter's House fo rmany years. The Potter's House is a Christian educational organization. She said that she came across many low-income families through POtter's House who seems to be giving their best efforts to improve their children's lives. She wanted to help those parents achieve their goals, so she got interested in ni education from that. The interveiwer also asked Mrs. DeVos how she felt about the overall progress of her movement. She said that she felt it was successful and that she remembers quite a few successes That she's had over the years. She pointed out situations like the tax credit scholarship program in Florida. She feels as though she had great success there. It resulted in the growth of more that 50,000 students. It's accomlishments like that that cause the DeVos's to keep going storng in their efforts.
