Food- Betta fish can eat standard pellets from the pet store, or they can live off of insects, larvae, and insect eggs which is commonly what they eat in the wild. Bloodworms are a good treat for betta fish that can help with bloating. Betta fish should be fed twice a day daily.
Safety- Keep Betta’s water around eighty degrees. If you are going to keep your fish in a bowl without a filter you may clean the bowl every two weeks, but if you have a filter, you may clean every three to four weeks. Make sure to add a case on top to make sure kids aren’t reaching in and taking it out of the water.
