In documents 13.9 and 14.1, it was evident that there was quite a large amount of differences in regard to personal aspects of equality and boundaries. There are really not true similarities besides, both Albert Beveridge and W.E.B. Dubois, stating their own opinions on the topic. Yet in comparison, there are countless signs of dissimilarities. As it was stated, Beveridge shows several points in his speech that expressed imperialism. He wishes to take over and expand other areas of land without the consent of its inhabitants, not having concern for the people of the foreign land’s system of government, were as Dubois’s only concern is that of others. Dubois fights for equality and tries to change society into seeing people of different race
