After reading your thread, a Bible verse I found that is most relevant to your thread, in my opinion, is Proverbs 10:9 which states “whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out” (ESV). The reason I chose this verse is because of what you said about a supervisor not being honest with his/her subordinate, and the subordinate finding out about it. Because we all will be held accountable for our actions, it is best to just do what is right.
