My Five Paragraph Essay
This summer my All-Star team was probably the best there has been since four to five years ago. We were in the District tournament. There were a total of four teams in the tournament; Mile City was in the tournament finishing in 4th place. Sidney which was took 3rd place. Hi-Line fished 2nd and we won the tournament. During the District championship we had four games. In the first round of the tourney we versed Hi-Line and it was a close game, until Kevin Schindler started throwing lots of pitches not for strikes. Then, they brought in Gabe Legree, which he doesn't throw hard enough to strike us out. I had two at bats in one inning and I ended up scoring both at bats and we advanced to the next round, I think the final score was 14-6. We played Sidney in the second round of the tournament which was a slow moving game until the 4th inning when I would have hit a home run but it went just foul. Then, I would end up grounding out to the third baseman. Conner Leach was after me and he hit a homerun which would add to our lead 5-2. Cody Rossi pitched a great game giving up only 3 runs. We would end up beating the Sidney Reds by a score of 7-3. We were now in the championship against Hi-Line. Kevin Schiendler pitched a very good game and would end up getting the win, which would force a real championship game. We started Josh Hoffer on the mound and he would pitch four innings giving up only 3 runs. Then, we would put Cody Rossi in the 5th and would get the save. We won the championship and were District champions on a score of 11-5 I think. We were on our way to state! During state we would have to verse a very tough team in the first round. Kalispell had a very good pitcher. We got a lot of hits off of them, but, we had way too many errors. I think we had a total of seven errors. We would lose that game 10-7. We would end up going to the losers’ bracket and would play Mission Valley. We played a very good game against them I believe the total was 17-9. We were two runs away from sending them home early. We would advance in the losers’ bracket and face Helena, Montana. During our game against Helena, we would play a very great game against them. Helena had a hard pitcher at the beginning but it just took some time for our players to get used too. It was a
