“Loyalty, honor, a willing heart, I can ask for no more than that.”, said Thorin to Bilbo. As I read this, I thought he only asked this of Bilbo? However, as I read further and further into the story, I realized just how tough it would be for me, let alone Bilbo, to continually choose to be loyal and give a willing heart even in the most traitorous of times. Bilbo had to venture out of his comfort zone and go to great lengths to keep the dwarves from catastrophic events. He had to be very agile and intelligent since the dwarves lacked of it.
