“The Hobbit” written by “J. R. R. Tolkien” Is an exciting fantasy about a hobbit named “Bilbo”, who embarks on a magnificent adventure where encounters new friends, meets strange wild beasts and is faced with unlimited amounts of danger. This story is based off a quest where Bilbo must travel to the middle of the earth and seek the lost dwarf treasure called “The Arcane Stone”. The Hobbit is a story almost completely based on archetypes, where each and every character within the movie fits the archetypal characters in every way. The Characters were the most widely used archetypes, an example of this would be the wizard “Gandalf” who is both Bilbo’s mentor and herald who helps guide the young hobbit in his transformation into a true hero.
