Why do people undertake missions? Bill Denbrough defeated an interdimensional demon. David Charleston avenged his father. Peter Nimble overthrew a king. They all had two things in common. They were driven by success and they worked with others to accomplish their goals. Also, they all had to overcome challenges. Bill had a stutter, was bullied, and was trying to kill a god. David was just a normal 18-year-old and he was against three invincible Epics. Peter was using an army of kings and was also blind.
Firstly, Bill Denbrough's brother, George, was killed by an interdimensional demon. Now, Bill wants to avenge his brother and protect other kids from having the same fate as George. Bill gathered a group of friends, Eddie, Ben, Beverly, Mike, Stan, and Richie. He convinced them all to go down into the sewer to confront their fears. While on the way to the sewer, the group was chased by the bullies, Henry, Belch, and Victor. The group ran into the sewer and were attacked by a giant eye with tentacles. Two of the bullies were killed by Frankenstein. Henry continued on to chase the kids. The kids found the lair of It and Bill

Little did he know, the tyrant was his uncle. When Peter stole a box of eyes from a mysterious mind-reading man, he did not know that the eyes would suck him into a crazy journey. The box contained three sets of eyes, gold, onyx, and emerald. When he put the gold eyes in, he was transported to a lake where he met Professor Cake. The lake funneled messages in bottles into a pool of water where Professor Cake read them. the professor told Peter that he had to save a kingdom from a tyrant. Peter was accompanied by Sir Tode, a horse-cat-man, on his journey. They sailed together to an endless desert where thieves were held.
