The Bill of Rights has impacted American society in many ways, some of these ways are: it helped individual rights and also limited government power. The down side of the Bill of Rights is argued that is gives too much freedom to citizens. However, it has greatly impacted our society by making more individual and has greatly limited the government power. Therefore, the impact that the Bill of Rights has on American society is still in use in today's society. One may argue that the Bill of Rights has given citizens way to much power. With that being said, there is one amendment particularly that might be said to give to much freedom and that amendment is the third amendment. For instance, the government power is limited, because the first ten amendments states ways that U.S. citizens have individual rights. For example, the tenth amendment clearly states that power is not given to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution belong to the state or to the people. This clearly means that the things stated in the Constitution helps the Bill of Rights protect the individual rights of the U.S, citizens. The Bill of Rights was obviously written to help protect the people of the world's rights form the government. In conclusion the Bill of Rights impacted the society highly back then, but also stills impacts the society in today's world greatly. If there was no Bill of Rights, we may not have a lot of the freedom that we have today. The Bill of Rights has helped individual rights in a highly positive way, that we should all appreciate. The Bill of Rights also helped limit the government power, allowing more for the state. All this being said the Bill of Rights still impacts today's society, because it helped set a precedent for many years to come, by stating individual rights, and by limiting the government
