Syria Airstrike Kills Schoolchildren
Syrian government fired a missile at a school in Aleppo killing 47 people, mostly children. This happened as students were preparing an art exhibition to depict the horrors of Syria’s civil war. The aftermath of this attack on the school left blood splattered across the school ground and walls. This blood splattered all over the mural on the wall. The mural was a drawing of rebels beheading or shooting children and throwing their corpses in a pit of skeletons. After the attack there was a makeshift morgue were children laid out in brown and blue body bags on a tile floor. There was an effort to save some of the children after the attack but it was hard to get through all the rubble and damage to the school. Syrian government said the military had carried out operations against terrorists in Aleppo, but it didn't address the strike on the school. They denied the allegations stating they did not ordered the attack on the school. Even though the government has gained control of the military, violence has not been stopped witch is continuing to ruin the country. The people of Syria are still haunted about the attack on the school and are holding the government responsible. Activist said the missile strike happened at 9 A.M., when a MiG jet fired at the Ein Jalout school. Searches were made to find survivors in all the rubble till 5 P.M.
