Blade Runner by Philip K. Dick and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury are both in a Dystopian fiction, where in Blade Runner you can see the big difference in the futuristic world where the place is gloomy, environmentally destroyed and looks very awful but in Fahrenheit 451 isn’t as obvious as Blade Runner but you can see that everyone is acting like the same and no difference to one another.
In Blade Runner, the world looks very gloomy, environmentally destroyed and technology is what they rely on. The government in Blade Runner is controlling too much of the people where the government is watching the people too much and controlling them too much. In Fahrenheit 451 the world looks isn’t that much different to what we are now but they are very strict to the people because of banned to read books where if they caught you with books you will go straight to jail. A fireman there is where they continuously search for books because reading books is banned in Fahrenheit 451, the government things that it is bad for people. He is unhappy because of banning the books. Mildred is Montag’s wife and she attempted suicide mainly because she is depressed and unhappy about her life, her friend and the people around here are very shallow, stupid and think only for themselves. Clarice encouraged Montag to break free as a fireman where when Montag started to read books and see the true meaning why they banned books because the government in Fahrenheit 451 thinks that books makes people unhappy and very emotional and doesn’t help the society at all.
