¨men are so quick to blame the gods they say that we advice there misery, but

poem odyssey by homer there is a man named odysseus forced to fight in the trojan war

and he's there for 10 years. After he wins the war he Then tries to get home, but the gods

have other ideas for odysseus and his men. they face hard challenges but he makes it

back to ithaca to see his son and his wife once again.

Odyssey is clever because, he outsmarted the cyclops by giving him wine to drink

and the cyclops fell asleep.odysseus came up with a plan to get out of the cave, the only

serious measures if you don't thank any of them in odyssey case he didn't thank poison so

he got exceedingly mad so he wants odysseus and his men to suffer for 10 years to see

odysseys crack , if you do the crime you pay the time. Though odyssey asked numerous

times why the gods are doing this he still doesn't thank them for all they done . Though

odysseus is arrogant he is super determined to reach ithaca home safe.

Odyssey is determined such as when odyssey started to get lost he so badly

get back home. This shows he's very motivated because he searches for them for almost

20 years and even makes it to ithaca but doesn't tell penelope to protect her and protect

himself from all the shooters that want to take his life and is wife. In addition odyssey killed

all the suters to make certain that he would have this throne and not have it taken over. This

shows that he's still very committed to ithaca after 20 years at sea. He would be willing to

kill just to have his old life back again and if i was in odyssey shoes i would understand
