Men and Women of the Irish Republican Army, For too long have we suffered under the tyranny of English rule. Under the English, we the Irish have marginalized for our religious convictions, and denied our civil liberties innumerable times. Take instance of segregation of the housing system. An Irish citizen cannot choose any home he pleases, due to his belief in the salvation that is Roman Catholicism. Is that the freedom our countrymen deserve? The English will not let us live in our own homeland, and they keep us in check by partitioning us off, to skew the votes and maintain their dominance over us. Representation is nonexistent for the Irish, and the puppets that make up our government do nothing to further the interests of the people. We are not masters in our own house. However, now we are at a pivotal moment, a moment where we can divert the destiny of the Irish people. This event what is now becoming known as Bloody Sunday, the day when protests, in demand of the freedom that all Irish deserve, rocked our nation. Their cries for equality and freedom were answered by the English with harsh voices of gunshots. 14 brave Irish civilians were slaughtered in cold blood during the travesty. But this brave sacrifice has strengthened our cause, and has only stoked the desire in all of our hearts to see our country united and free.
