Blue job fisheries have a huge impact on sustainability because the way they catch the fish are harmful to the environment. Blue jobs have the technology to catch so many fish at a time, there are two types there is long line and bottom trawling. In my opinion, I believe that the long line method is the best for the environment because if you catch fish you don’t necessarily need you can take them off the hook right away and put them back into the water. On the other hand, bottom trawling drops a big net to the bottom of the water and picks up the whole environment where the fish are living and takes all the fish even if they do not need them and they would either use them as bait or just kill them.
