“One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and repeated measures ANOVA are used to analyze the data” (Lai & Lam, 2010, p. 377). The results indicate deficiencies in all measurable objectives, and suggest dissatisfaction of and among partnered construction project participants. Lai & Lam (2010, p. 388) speculate that increased funding for project planning could reduce the high incidence of serious accidents, pollution and inferior work. Beyond this comment however, their research did not look directly for solutions but was limited to a targeted analysis of problems, which was the focus of the study. The article did not indicate if construction challenges unique Hong Kong were present, or point to alternative foreign business arrangement with superior expectation outcomes.
