Bob Dylan, born as Robert Allen Zimmerman, was born on May 24, 1941 in Duluth, MN. He grew up greatly influenced by rock stars such as Elvis Presley and Little Richard. Tis influence continued as he grew older. He even formed a group in high school called the Golden Chords. Although he is often thought of as just playing guitar, harmonica, and singing, Dylan is equally skilled on the piano, and he has played most instruments at one point or another in his 40+ years in music. His career began in the early 1960s with songs that chronicled social and political issues. He has written over 500 songs and is still writing till this day. Dylan, is songwriter, writer, painter and singer. His top ten songs (according to Rolling Stone) are :
