World War Z

World War Z written by Max Brooks caught my interest due to my fascination in zombies. The main setting of this book is in China and many more places around the world, it has four hundred and nine pages to read, and is an apocalyptic horror novel. The narrator is the main character of this story, but his name was not mentioned throughout the story. The book is set up as a journal from the time the apocalypse first broke. His age is unknown, but he seem as if he is in his late forties due to him talking about what seems to be his grown up daughter, and he has a childish sense upon him throughout the story as if he were to be a father who use to be engaged with his children a lot. He gathers information on the outbreak which is soon named World War Z and sets it out in a neat format throughout the story. He is interested in the people who have survived the war because it is obvious he likes to hear different situations and different points of views on what the war was like. He is very interested in finding what actually caused the unfortunate outbreak.
