My Brother Sam is Dead by the Collier brothers is a book showing the impacts The American Revolutionary War has on individuals, families, communities and countries. Tim the protagonist, narrator, brother to Sam and youngest son to Eliphelet and Susan Meeker is stuck in the middle of a war not only in his country, but in his family and in himself.
