Music has had a huge impact on my life, I have so many memories amazing memories that are permanently linked with songs in my head. These songs are very important to me and I believe I would be a very different person if I had never heard them. These songs span a wide variety of genres and meanings. Some of words don’t mean much to me, but the memories and the music that go with them will stay with me forever. When I think of songs that have shaped me and made me who I am I immediately think of Chris LeDoux. My favorite song of his, “Born To Follow Rodeo” might be my favorite song of all time. The lyrics speak to me in ways I cannot explain, it sings of rodeo, hardships, discouragement, and successfulness. Garth Brooks is one of my favorite singers and in this song he pays tribute to my favorite singer: Chris LeDoux. Words cannot explain how much I love this song and how much I it does for me. “Much Too Young” helps me realize that life will be hard and that I can always fight through, it teaches me to keep fighting for my dreams no matter what, and it also teaches me to love and appreciate what I have and not take life for granted. I will always be able to remember these lessons through this song and I will always think of my family and rodeo when it is played. “Much Too Young” has been, by far, the most influential song in my life, I do not even want to think about knowing it, because I know that I would not have the life I live
