How would you feel if you were in a huge bombing while at an event for someone you know? On April 15th, 2013 was a tragic day. This was a tragic day because the Boston Marathon bombing happened. The bombing happened at the Boston Marathon when many people were running, the bomb went of when people were crossing the finish line. The bombs killed 3 people, injured more than 260 people and 16 people lost limbs. Can you imagine going to watch someone you know run in a huge marathon and end up being seriously hurt because someone set off a bomb. At 9:32 A.M the women runners started. Thousands of male runners started at 10 A.M. Then at about 2:49 that afternoon there were more than 5,600 runners still running. 2 pressure cooked bombs packed with deadly materials were hidden in backpacks and placed on the ground in a crowd of people watching the marathon. The police told everyone to stay in their homes just increase. At this time there were military style vehicles that roamed the city. Later that night a man went out to look at his boat and there was a trail of blood going to it. The man was identified at Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, one of the terrorists. The man immediately called 911 and he was taken to jail. The boston Marathon bombing was a very historic event. It was very chaos after that day. Everyone eventually got over it and it was just an event in the past. Although the people that where when it happened or any of the runners will never forget it. This event is not very comparable to 9/11 but people will still remember it. I remember that when I got home from school the news was on and my mom asked me if I knew what happened and at that time I didn't know so she told me and then it really sunk in that these two terrorists just killed and injured many people at a huge
