Human population growth is becoming a huge issue in our world today. The population is increasing rapidly. The reason that it is becoming a concern is because it has affected the economic, environmental, and social aspects of our world.. About a quarter of the world’s population suffers from malnutrition, and over 10 million people die of starvation each year. This problem is mostly concentrated in the Third World countries. Brazil’s current population is thought to be around 202.6M and the population growth rate has been rounded to about 1%. In the 1960 census, Brazil's population was growing rapidly with women having six children on average. Today, women are having less children (an average of 1.7 or 2). The population is increasing in Brazil, but the rate has slowed down. The population in Brazil will grow because of its large numbers of young citizens. Education in family planning particularly among women can reduced population growth. Improved primary education can also reduces infant mortality, which gives women greater confidence in the survival of their children and reduces their desire to have more. Not only does that translate into reduced population growth, but it also leads to improved quality of life as parents become more aware of the options available to their family. The main effect on environment is increasing in deforestation to reduce this more no of building is created rather than individuals houses. Agricultural land should not be destroyed for this urbanization. More amounts of industry and factories should be built in towns which will create employment opportunities.
