Bravery In Odysseus In Homer's Odyssey

Odysseus, in the Odyssey by Homer, and I both demonstrate bravery. When Odysseus arrives to the island he gives his men orders saying, “Old ship mates, friends, the rest of you stand by; I’ll make the crossing in my own ship, with my own company, and find out what the mainland natives are” (898). This shows that Odysseus has brave because he was warning his men about the dangers about the island and that he would go on the island to check out the natives. In order to keep his men safe again he needs to give rules to his men to be safe from Scylla, Odysseus says, “Heads up lads we must obey the orders as I give them” (935).
