This quote reminds me of the audio book we are listening to in my Language class. The audio book is called “Breadwinner”, and it talks about a family’s life in Afghanistan. The family’s situation is extremely harsh. Their beautiful house and belongings are bombed, and their father gets arrested. They don’t complain but instead, they use everything they have to pull through this horrific part of their life. The girl in the story said that she just wants a normal boring life where she talks about homework with her friends and stress over geography tests. Now I feel a little spoiled that I complained about how we had so many tests to study for because the girl couldn’t even attend school and had to work instead to feed her family. This quote made
