In May of 2010, Brent Carey, plaintiff, was in an auto accident in which he received settlement money for the injuries sustained. Due to these injuries, his doctor referred him to Indiana Physical Therapy and he began therapy with a therapist by the name of Stephen Connelly, defendant. During Carey’s third treatment his therapist did “compressions” which the Carey describes as, "He laid his chest across my arms and ... used his body to put force on my arms and push." Carey claims that the therapist only stopped when he broke into tears and screamed. He also adds that he felt something pop.
