Brisbane's air is really clean for such a large city. Despite the sudden increase in population and pollution, Brisbane still has the cleanest air of capital city’s in Australia. The major pollutants found in Brisbane’s atmosphere are; ozone, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, air toxics and metals. The major sources of theses pollutants are cause by; motor vehicles, electricity generation, bushfires and large-scale vegetation burning, domestic heating, paint fumes and industrial emissions.
