The source of this product would be Microsoft as they are offering this to their customers. In order to deliver a message the source must encode it. To do this Microsoft would make sure that the message is attractive so more people keep watching the advert. This would get the people to buy the product as they would like the advertisement of it. The advert has visuals as they used business logos and sound to show the products features. Microsoft would have to put this advertisement on media so that people are able to see it. Microsoft has chosen to use TV advertisement and the internet to promote this product. This has allowed them to reach out to their target group. In the Microsoft advert the new laptop grabbed the attention of the viewers as they could see a side view of it and they could see a new designed hinge and the viewers would keep watching as they would have saw this.

Information
The Microsoft advert shows us information about the laptop as it shows us the speciation of the laptop such as “up to 16GB RAM” and other information on what the laptop can do. As the advert provides us with a lot of information about the product it would interest the viewers into buying it.

Decision
The Microsoft advert doesn’t offer the viewers goods that they can win. Also the advert doesn’t show another other products and services or the viewers aren’t able to compare them to decide which one they like best.

Action
Towards the end of the advert it shows us the Microsoft logo and the name of the laptop which is Microsoft Surface Book. The advert hasn’t given a place where they are able to buy this laptop so they may not buy it when they see it, but it shows us the business logo which is Microsoft. The viewers would have to do their own research to find this product.
