Every year advertisers pay millions of dollars to have their ad shown down during the game. Over Millions of people watch the super bowl game. This is when they have the highest viewers to advertise to at one given moment. There is no better time to benefit from your advertising money. Budweiser, grown to become one of the highest selling beers in the United States, produces many advertisements through each year, and none of them are as iconic as the ones they choose during Super bowl. Some of the super bowl ads are funny and some are heartfelt; Budweiser’s ads evoke all these feelings within you. In 2015 one of the commercial that Budweiser aired, known as “lost dog” is the second chapter in the story of puppy who found a home and a friend in one of the Clydesdale horse. The puppy gets in a confrontation with a wolf. The little puppy that audience adore is in trouble. The audience immediately hate the wolf. Clydesdale friend and other three horses from their stables hear the puppy yelping for help and run out to the puppy’s rescue. They scare off the big bad wolf, and get the dog escorted back to the farm to reunite with his owner. It shows that old friends are always willing to back each other up. The emotional burden of pathos that audience has been carrying is lifted completely. These Clydesdale horses are the heroes.
The ad goes from day to night, while these events occur, to help add to the creation of serene atmosphere. Music also played a key role in this commercial. It was slow and acoustic, more downbeat and painful sounding. Once the danger is gone and the puppy heads home, showing uplifting emotions accompanied by Clydesdale horses. The background music changes its mood, the sun comes up and they all sit together while the man enjoys his beer in the beautiful glow of sunset.
