Writing an essay using the comparison and contrast technique is a way expressing seminaries or differences between to subjects. For instance, in the anorexia and bulimia nervosa essay, the authors state the differences between these two diseases. The authors of this essay give specific points of differences between these two problems, such as the fear in anorexic persons of eating and filling guilty gaining weight in contrast to the bulimic persons, which prefer to purge themselves by vomiting what they eat or to work-out in an excessive way. In addition, in a comparison and contrast essay is possible to organize it by two different ways: the block format and the point-by-point format.
