Look Back An unjust practice that has been “ongoing and/or recurrent at the clinical agency that is related to one or more social determinants of health is stress and burnout at workplace. The social determinants of health such as the social support networks, social environment, employment and working condition, personal health practices and coping skills can contribute to stress and burnout. Some of reason behind the stress and burnout at the clinical setting is due to work environment such as understaffing, adjusting to various work shift and client care assignments, and the lack of support at workplace.

It happened during the day shift at report time and it happened in the nursing station. I was confused and little shocked of what is happening in front of me. I felt bad for the new nurses on the unit because I can empathize on how they must be feeling about coming to a new unit that is different from the unit they have worked at. Also being in the middle of a verbal conflict between two groups on the first day, it must be uncomfortable. I think others might have thought and felt the same why I did if they haven’t experienced this kind of situation before, just like me. My values and belief as a future nurse is to be professional and respectful in any situation because it is the way deal with conflicts properly and solve issues effectively. My attitude towards anything, like for example in a verbal conflict: I should listen to others’ concerns actively and then share my part, to be nonjudgmental and open-minded and discuss in professional manners. I think in the nursing field, it is important to maintain professionalism in any situation because it is the best way to deal with problem as a team, share ideas and work together to come up with solution in order to reduce stress and …show more content…
The important part of the situation is that work as a team, share workplace issues with each other because others are probably going through same situation. Follow conflicts prevention and management, use strategies to solve the problem. For example create a group meetings, share thoughts and concerns, plan and follow up. Everyone should behave professionally and be respectful of each other. It is important because this action can open doors for solutions and each team members can have input and ideas to dealing with this kind of situation. I would like to see people try their best to work as a team, be fair and equal in every situation. I need address that there is a right way to deal with stress and conflicts related to clinical settings. I need to provide the options and show success rate when it id done the right way.

New Perspective
In conclusion, stress and burnout in clinical setting or anywhere, everyone involved needs to be mindful and realize they are not the only ones going through it. When it reach to a point where any sort of conflicts is form, everyone should have equal say and show respect among each other. In the future, I will my best to deal with stressor and conflicts the right way as I mentioned earlier. I will collaborate with my future co-workers in order to prevent
