Management in a Dynamic Business Environment What are the dominant attribute, leadership style, and strategic emphasis of your organization?
Financial Center Federal Credit Union serves consumers who live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam, and Shelby Counties and the greater Indianapolis area.
The Credit Union originated in 1953 to serve the military personnel and civilians assigned to Fort Benjamin Harrison on the east side of Indianapolis. In 1968, FCFCU opened several locations in West Germany to accommodate military personnel serving overseas. Our affiliation with the military can still be felt through the thousands of military personnel the Credit Union continues to serve across the world. In 2013, Financial Center merged with Horizon One Federal Credit Union (www.fcfcu.com).
Our Mission is to provide member-owners with valued financial offerings and the highest level of personal excellence attainable in our market. Our Credit Union philosophy is we succeed only when our members succeed (www.fcfcu.com).
The credit union dominant attribute is that the financial decisions that you make can not only improve your life, but also that of your family. These changes can help improve our community and the world. We believe in empowering you with the financial products and services as well as the knowledge you need to achieve your vision of financial success. We believe in doing what's right, right here in Central Indiana.
The leadership style is very open. Anyone in the organization that has an idea is commended to share. Everyone in the organization plays a vital role in our success; from the part time teller to the CEO. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy working for FCFCU. I matter in this organization.
