Google-Maps Google Maps is one of the leading maps providers on the Internet carrying huge database consisting of business details, routes, multiple views (Arial, street, hybrid, satellite views). They use the Customer Relationship Management Intelligence Platform which helps them with the accurate market data and valuable business insights. Google Maps has its companies all over the world. It has simplified option for users to report issues with local data which is moderated to ensure the data on the Maps are accurate. Google Maps has aerial view in hybrid, satellite view of earth, street view in 19+ countries, millions of businesses details like Name, address, phone#, website, etc from many countries. Aerial view data comes from its intelligent systems from satellites whereas it has worked tremendously on gathering street views, images to have ground data accurate possible. Google Maps acquires data of businesses from its portals like mapmaker, Google my business (G+ pages), licensed resources - It depends on users to report, add, edit for updated info. It gathers and verifies the information about the businesses by reaching the business directly by calling them. As it doesn't do the ground work operations it also has stale data. However this has no significant effect on users so far. Here is the process of verifying data in a large scale.
