I am pleased to notify you of your acceptance into the Business minor through the Leeds School of Business starting Fall 2013.
The first class this Fall is BUSM 2001 – Principles of Management and Marketing. It will be on T/TR from 11:00 – 12:15 in Flemming 115. When you register for the Fall semester, please add it to your schedule. You will have the new Business minor designation - with the track that you chose - on your record in MyCUInfo and this will allow you to register for the class.
Before being able to take the first class, you will be required to have completed all of the pre-requisites necessary for successful completion of the minor. This includes a Statistics or Calculus course with a C- or better (or passing the specifically designed ALEKS exam). You will also need to have a 2.0 cumulative CU gpa, be in good academic standing and have completed at least 26 hours of college-level coursework.
Required On-Boarding Day:
You will begin the Business Minor with a required half-day on-boarding experience offered before classes start for the Fall. This unique experience will introduce you to key foundations in corporate social responsibility, global business, and critical thinking. The Business Minor On-boarding is an essential building block for successful case preparation and group work that will be integrated into the program.
The dates for the on-boarding are below. Please use this link to select
