EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The proposal set before you discusses the impact of effective communication, how individual employees are affected by the quality of communication, how the organization can improve its communications. The proposal also discusses specific issues seen within the company and provides specific solutions to resolve those issues. The proposal recommends strategy for effective organizational communication and who it will enhance the organization.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Communication is lacking within the company. Changes often take place and are not communicated to all the necessary parties. Employees feel lost and frustrated because of the lack of or incomplete communication. Most of the communication is through email and is dependent on the managers to share the information. My department has been able to look at the methods of communication and determined ways to improve the communication form the corporate office down to the communication within the stores.

PROPOSED SOLUTION
We have the recommendation to implement communications systems within the store that all levels of employees can log into to receive updates. The communication systems would have access to the email system. However, the email would be limited to receiving email only and would have filters set up so that it would not receive management level emails. The employee would also have the option to print out the emails through the printer at each station. The stations would be set up at one of the registers and would also have a station in the break room for easy access. By allowing the employees to have access to information the employees would feel informed and empowered to act within the store to complete necessary projects. This system would help align the companies goals within the stores and make the workplace more efficient for managers and employees.
