Hello, I'm Madeline Bilicki, and as a junior in the social work program, the purpose of this portfolio is to show that I have demonstrated an understanding and achievement of the Council on Work Education's (CSWE) core competencies and associated behaviors. Although there are nine competencies, I have been required to write about three competencies that I have achieved so far in the program. The two competencies that I am required to discuss are competency 1 and competency 6; my third competency was left for me to decide, in which I chose to discuss competency 2.
