“The air is growing heavy, damp, almost solid. I’m breathing bricks”, thinks my mom as she looks around franticly calling my name. In one hand she has a walkie talkie to communicate with my dad, and in the other she has her cell phone calling security.

The day before we had driven to Grand Bend to go camping at Pinery. The next my cousin and I had woken up really early, so we decided to go for a walk around the campground. My cousin and I both love exploring and adventure and as we were walking we stumbled across a trail that led into the forest, so we decided to follow it. At the end of the trail there was a campsite and we thought that the trail had just led us back to our area, but we soon found out that that wasn’t the case. We were lost for a good 2-3 hours until my brother and dad found us.
That night after dinner, we sat around the campfire toasting marshmallows. The fire started to die down so I took a flashlight and started searching for dead leaves to throw into the fire. I put the flashlight on my wrist so that I can get more leaves. One time as I was throwing an arm full of leaves into the fire, the flashlight fell of the wrist band and into the fire. A little while later, both batteries exploded and we were forced to move campsites because ours got intoxicated.
In the end I ended up getting into big trouble because my parents say that my actions were really irresponsible and they grounded me for 2 weeks. I look back and say that there isn’t a raison why I
