The three specific things Canadian Tires does to appeal to a mass number of female consumers by softer lighting, apple-and cinnamon scented aisles, and kid-friendly shopping carts. The proper lighting can have a significant effect directing shoppers to key merchandise and hugely affecting customer deciding to purpose an item. In addition, Canadian Tire uses scented aisles considering it has powerful triggering emotions and memories which encourages people to buy the product. These subconscious forces clearly work as they influence customers to purchase goods. The kid-friendly shopping carts are a great benefit for parents to bring their children to Canadian Tire. The result of kid-friendly cart will cause the children ask their parents to purchase more things. Overall, Canadian Tire use these techniques to further generate revenue as well as better influence their customer's buying decisions.

The company is selling the experiences rather than promoting products to female consumers. For instance, they had implemented apple-and cinnamon scented aisles considering scents triggering emotions and memories encouraging people to buy the product. Another way, Canadian Tire captivate females by innovating new product displays, with good design as it creates an expectation in one’s mind of the product. Furthermore, senses like sight, sounds and smell creates an environment that encourages people to linger, and return again to repeat the experience. The fact, that the organization realized a small portion of females shop at Canadian Tires. They noticed there were missing out on many potential customers. The problem ultimately caused the company to revamp and altering their representation to a family-friendly view. Therefore, I feel Canadian Tire utilized many methods to appeal to female consumers
