With the inmates having medical issues, there is a lot of expensive medical services lets start with the males that are in prison will need to be checked for all manner of ailments for example prostate cancer, liver problems/cancer for the inmate that was a constant drinker before that inmate had been admitted to the prison. There is much more care that should be addressed while they are in prison when it comes to cancer screening that can be a costly medical service for males and even for the female inmates. There are a lot of medical issues with the males besides cancer there are physical medical issues that need to be addressed such as any broken bones that the inmate might receive while in prison like from another inmate during a fight, and if the medical staff at the prison are not able to provide what is needed to check for a broken bone than that is when the inmate will be taken to the hospital by ambulance and that …show more content…
