Canine Parvo is a highly contagious disease that affects dogs in two different forms. The two forms are intestinal and cardiac; they can both be deadly. There are two types of canine parvovirus there is canine parvovirus one and canine parvovirus two. Canine parvo is a viral illness that attacks dogs; the virus is transmitted either by direct contact with an infected dog, or indirectly, by the fecal-oral route. A dog can contract parvo through the intestinal form. This form of the disease is dangerous and possibly deadly. The intestinal form in the most common form of canine parvovirus a puppy can get. It can be contracted orally through the infected feces. After the puppy ingests the virus the lymphatic system starts replicating the virus. Therefore it is overtaking the lymphatic system.
