The risk of cardiovascular disease increases with physical stress and emotional stress. However, some doctors discount the effects of emotional stress on cardiovascular disease. Many think emotional stress is a psychological problem, not a physical problem. Hundreds of people in hospitals are under all types of stress, disorders, and chronic anxiety. Leaving patients depressed and hopeless. Factors that contribute to depression in patients hospitalized long-term are the lack of socialization, the side effects of medications, and the feeling of confinement.

That individual don't feel like themselves. It makes them double think on why and ask questions to themselves or even nurses. Stressed is caused simply but it also all depends on who you are though. Some individuals may love being to themselves. While other let that get to them which could and may cause extra problem for the individual time being. A person with lack of social activity may call for help. Hospitals have hundreds of offers to offer you. A stress management specialist may come to help with that. Most of the time, the specialist have to be called. Other times the specialist can see that they're needed. It doesn’t even matter the cause of that person being in the hospital and what type of medicine thats being used. Medicine is medicine. Side effects is also known as an adverse effect as well. Side effects is when a treatment goes beyond the desired effect and causes a problem; the treatment, which may be a medication, surgical procedure or some kind of therapy. Most drugs causes depression no matter what the reason the drug is taken for. Certain medications prescribed for various medical conditions do cause such feelings as sadness, despair, and discouragement. And those are feelings that are often associated with depression.
