The Carlisle Indian School prioritized making Native Americans erase their culture, basically making them copy clones. The school pulled many Native Children from America to learn to become civil. The Carlisle Indian School reflected the way Natives were negatively treated by being stripped from their identity and culture, the image of the natives was changed to being ‘savage’ and ‘uncivil’ causing a lot of native attitudes to feel helpless.

Native Americans were stripped of their identities and forced to discard their culture. The main purpose of the Carlisle Indian school was to turn the Native Americans culture into something they didn't prioritize.
