In today's society females aren't depicted respectfully. In the media, women are constantly sexual and almost nude and that is what is "ordinary." If a female is completely dressed or not sexual, she's viewed as strange or unattractive. Our sexuality is the media's primary device however sadly it is not a positive and courteous presentation of females. This relates with what Caroline Heldman says in her piece called "Out-of-Body Image."
